- Goliath: For millennia, Earth's wisest creatures have stood in awe of the miracle of creation. But modern science has given the world the tools to challenge nature. To give life where none existed before. Such power is as intoxicating as it perilous. The consequences of its misuse may way heavily upon us all.
- Brooklyn: Letting Sevarius get his hooks in us is asking for trouble.
- Hudson: Aye. The man has no conscience. There's no telling what he'll try.
- Lexington: The clones have to trust him, they've got no choice. But *we* do.
- Angela: Do we? Take another look.
- [They look at the clones]
- Angela: Then say we have a choice.
- Goliath: We are here to heal, not hurt. I believe you know them.
- [indicates the clones]
- Dr. Sevarius: Eww. I thought I told them not to bother me.
- [Puts his nightmask back on and starts to lie down. Goliath growls and grabs him]
- Goliath: Would you care to try that again?
- Dr. Sevarius: [to Thailog] Finally, I'm free of you! Your intimidations, your threats, no amount of money could bring me this kind of peace of mind.
- Angela: [the clones have all turned to stone] Doctor, do you think we'll ever find a way to bring them back?
- Dr. Sevarius: There may be a way to revive them one day, but why make the effort?
- [the gargoyles all gasp]
- Dr. Sevarius: They were defective. You ask me, they're a lot better off passing off as bad sculptures.
- Hudson: Show some respect, sir!
- Dr. Sevarius: [Thailog arrives and attacks Little Anton] Thailog?
- Angela: Thailog's helping us?
- Hudson: Never thought I'd live to see the night.
- Goliath: Who can say what the future holds. We were stone a thousand years between breaths. Perhaps these troubled creatures have not seen their final sunrise.
