Storyline

DJ volunteers at a nursing home where she meets 75 year-old Eddie. Stephanie and Kimmy argue over which of their family dogs is smarter, and decide to hold a neighborhood dog show in the back yard to decide. DJ agrees to judge the dog show and Eddie asks to accompany her. Not realizing that Eddie isn't allowed to leave the nursing home, DJ agrees, which could hurt both of them. Meanwhile, Becky dares Jesse to wear a "sympathy pad", a prosthetic belly meant to simulate pregnancy. Written by Melissa

Quotes

D.J.: Dad, I was talking to Eddie and he didn't know who I was.
Danny: The nurse told me that Eddie is suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer's Disease. It effects his memory and sometimes he doesn't know where he is or what he's doing.
D.J.: Is he going to get better?
Danny: [gravely] Actually, the truth is, if he has Alzheimer's, he's going to get worse.
D.J.: Is there a cure?
Danny: Not yet.
