Some Good With Some Bad.
Movie-ManDan16 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This has never been one of my favourites. At the same time, some good things came out of this. DJ's spoiled nature is shown again and this also highlights Danny at his worst. The subplot is the strength that keeps this from me giving it a really bad review.

Report card time! Stephanie's grades are good but her teacher says she talks too much. She makes an oath to be silent. DJ gets all As except a D in Spanish. DJ expects Danny to change her grade. I honestly don't blame DJ for wanting her father to change such a low grade. A D does not look good at all. Then the bad comes into play. Remember in those old James Bond movies when Bond would have sex with a woman seconds after meeting her? Similar story here. DJ's teacher offers to help build her vocabulary by putting Spanish signs on household things. One things leads to another, and her and Danny make out. Not for a second did I believe that things could escalate that quickly. And her teacher happens to be single too? That always happens. DJ and her friends walk in on them making out and Danny is even caught with her at school. Bad grade aside, I felt so embarrassed for DJ and resentment towards Danny grew. Her and her father talk about the grade in a great few minutes, but Danny romancing the teacher was not well resolved.

The other story involves Jesse and Joey doing a jingle for a marshmallow company. Michelle gets the part, but bombs out when shooting happens. Very fun subplot.

The One Where D.J. Gets A "D" In Spanish...
taylorkingston24 May 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I love this episode. But I honestly hate how irresponsible, selfish, impatient and spoiled D.J. is. She expects her Dad to magically change her grades, like that would be a good life lesson to teach your child.

In this episode, D.J. gets a "D" in Spanish, so she asks Danny to go talk to her teacher, to get the teacher to change D.J.'s grade. But Danny understands why she didn't do better and doesn't think that her grade should be changed. Instead, he and the teacher have a connection, which makes for a very embarrassed D.J. when they're seen together.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.

Another mediocre episode

Warning: Spoilers
Now this isn't a great episode, but it's not bad. It's a little weird Danny getting with Dj's teacher, but there was some good parts like when Danny went in the closet at the school. I'm just not a huge fan of the one off love interest episodes, because they do that a lot in the show, only when it's Jesse is when it didn't bother me only because that's part of his character. When they do it to Danny or Joey sometimes it works but most of the time it's just a filler episode and that's what it is in this case. I did also like the scene when they put the papers all around room with Spanish words, pretty interesting idea and dj walking in on her dad making out to her teacher isn't funny but i snickered just from her reaction, but this isn't a great episode.
