Filmed early in the third season, the cast and crew found filming this episode to be a miserable experience due to continuously inclement weather. No-one was happy with the finished product, and as a result, "Coralee" was held back until the very end of the season, which was often the dumping ground for weaker episodes in 1960s television.
Last episode in black and white.
This is the first of three appearances Antoinette Bower makes in the series, each time playing a different character. The other two appearances occur during the fourth and final season in The Breaking of the Habit (1967) and The Shattered Silence (1967).
This is the third of four times that Dabney Coleman appears in the series: the other three being World's End (1964), Nicest Fella You'd Ever Want to Meet (1965), and Approach with Care (1966). In all but the last appearance, he plays some kind of police officer.
