Chandler and Monica thought they made new friends on the plane home after their honeymoon, but apparently Greg and Jenny gave them a fake phone number. After six months without sex, Ross takes Joey's advice to get past as many bases as possible with his latest date. He had been recording his routine, but forgot to turn the video off when Rachel marched in and so recorded their decisive single night of passion. Just because Ross insists on destroying the tape, Rachel decides she wants the friends to see it, despite Ross's warning he won't be the most embarrassed one. Written by KGF Vissers

[debating whether to see Ross and Rachel's videotape]
Ross: You want to see it?
Rachel: Clearly, you don't want people to see it. Now I don't want people to see it either, but you so badly don't want people to see it makes me want to see it, you see?
Joey: Are we watching the tape or not?

The One with the Videotape
2 September 2011 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

This is a great episode. We get to know how Ross and Rachel ended up sleeping together. And they don't just tell it to us but make it an interesting episode

We are facing the question: who made the first move? And both Rachel and Ross insist that the other one did. But luckily there is a videotape to find out.

And the videotape gives us some fun moments. First the reaction of the group when Rachel tries to destroy the tape is just great. And so is her reaction to Ross supporting her destroying them. And we see how Rachel dealt with the invites (Monica's face is just priceless) and that they even did it on the invites, the ones that were framed.

And the ending was well done! I really didn't expect that.
