Breaking up is hard to do

This was a strong episode of the third series, and all of the story lines were fun.

The Ross and Rachel plot had become a bit dull at times as the writers steered them from happy couple to splitsvile in an attempt to keep the series interesting. However, there are some lovely scenes between them in this episode, and I also liked the scene with Ross and Chandler, where Chandler told him that it was time to move on.

It was also lovely to see the writers giving Joey a story line with a bit more depth, as he realises he wants something a bit more meaningful in his life. Matt Le Blanc played the scenes so well too.

Lisa Kudrow doesn't have much to do, but perhaps she was filming something else at the same time.

This is a sweet and funny episode.
