Up on the roof

Although it feels risky revisiting the 'Joey and Rachel love story' plot, as well as feeling a bit of a rehash of what was covered in series 8, the main reason it works is down to the genuine performances of Jennifer Aniston and Matt Le Blanc.

I thought Phoebe and Chandler were underused here, but it was nice to see another side of Monica the soap opera party.

Aisha Tyler was introduced as Charlie Wheeler too, and her character will keep Ross busy as we move towards the end of series 9.
