Ross wants to introduce Ben to Chanukah. In order to entice Rachel to move back into their refurbished apartment, Pheobe must drive a wedge between Rachel and current roomie Joey.

Storyline

Phoebe brings in her late mother's Christmas memorial candy dish, shaped like a skull. Ben stays with Ross for the holidays who intends to teach his son about their Jewish heritage. He feels Ben is only exposed to Christmas traditions. Ross certainly makes his mark on Ben but the idea of a year without Santa sounds like a serious punishment. Chandler presumes that Rachel wants to stay living happily with Joey but Monica wants her to go back to Pheobes so gives Joey drums to drive Rachel out. That doesn't work so they try a tarantula which scares Joey but not Rachel who had one as a kid. Chandler's wait for a restaurant table means he might miss a theater performance; tipping the host doesn't work either as he can't find the paper money. Ross, wants to surprise Ben but can't rent any Christmas suit this late, so he invents Santa's Tex-Mex friend: the Holiday Armadillo. The Armadillo explains about Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights but Chandler appears as Santa to help out Ross. Ross ...

Ross' costume is hilarious!

Ross is going to stay with Ben this Christimas and wants to teach him more about Hanukkah. The problem is that Ben is used to Christimas and he loves Santa Claus, so Ross has a lot of difficulties to talk with him. Ross rents a costume of Armadillo to call Ben's attention to Hanukkahh, but his plans almost ended when Chandler arrives home wearing a Santa Claus' costume, making Ben stay more interested in Chandler then Ross.

Phoebe is excited because her apartment is almost ready but stays worried if Rachel wants to come live with her again, since Chandler told her how much Rachel likes to live with Joey. Phoebe gives Joey a lot of stuff in the hope of making Rachel go away from his apartment, like a tarantula (that Rachel loves,since she had one when she was a kid) and Drums.

Chandler tries to give money in a discrete way to people, but he is not successful in any of his tries.
