Plot Summary for
"Friends" The One with the Chick and the Duck (1997)

After seeing chicks on television, Joey decides to buy one for him and Chandler. This leads to fights between them, so they decide to take it back, but end up adopting a duck too instead. Ross is supposed to be on television, on the Discovery Channel, but gives up the opportunity to help Rachel go to the hospital after she broke her rib. Pete is still in love in Monica, and he offers her a restaurant. She refuses at first, but they end up making out. Written by Pruneau

Ross is gonna be on a show on Discovery Channel. Pete has bought a restaurant and offers Monica to be the head chef. Monica feels she can't accept it because Pete's only doing it because he has a crush on her. Pete lies to Monica that he met someone else and really wants her to do it. Joey buys a chick for him and Chandler. The chick needs constant care and love so one of them always has to stay home. Rachel probably has a broken rip and needs Ross to do her make-up for a big dinner with the people from her work. Rachel is in too much pain so Ross promises to take her to the hospital even though he won't be able to do the TV show. Chandler buys a duck for him and Joey. Monica accepts the job after kissing Pete. Rachel and Ross share a cute moment when Rachel realizes Ross gave the TV show up for her. Written by Anonymous
