Monica throws a baby shower for Rachel. The party is nice and everything goes well, until Phoebe tells Monica that there will be a stripper. Meanwhile, Joey is practicing for a casting to become the host of a new game show named Bamboozled. Ross and Chandler invite Joey to play basketball but he needs to practice for the casting and asks for some help. Chandler gets very uncomfortable because he feels like a fool, pretending to be a contestant, while Ross is enjoying it. Monica gets nervous because Rachel's mother arrives and she claims to have been invited in the last hour. Mrs Green tells Rachel that she will move with her for 8 weeks when the baby comes but Rachel doesn't like the idea and claims that she will be able to manage everything because has read some books. But when she opens her presents and sees all the strange items for newborn, she freaks out and concludes that indeed will need her mother's help. Written by

Rachel's two younger sisters Amy (Christina Applegate) and Jill (Reese Witherspoon) are not shown at Rachel's baby shower despite her mom (Marlo Thomas) telling Monica via telephone that they received their invitations. Monica told Rachel that they wouldn't make it. Rachel wasn't surprised "Shocking, a social event without booze and men" See more
Ross's answer "Queen Victoria" is incorrect. Queen Victoria holds the record as the longest reigning British monarch (that is monarch of any one of the historical or current kingdoms of the British Isles- England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, the Kingdom of Great Britain, or the United Kingdom and its successor states). She reigned from 1837 - 1901 as monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. She was never queen of the Kingdom of Great Britain (or "Great Britain") which existed from 1707 to 1800. The longest reigning monarch of Great Britain was George III, her uncle. See more
What's the final head count on my baby shower?
About twenty. A couple of people from work had something else to do.
Also, both of your sisters called, and neither can make it.
What? You mean they're not coming to a social event where there's no men and no booze? That's shocking!
