Storyline

Rachel is trying to solve the crossword in Soap Opera Digest magazine and sees that Joey is the answer to one of the clues. Joey tells his friends that he will be interviewed for an article about "Days of Our Lives". Everyone is very excited about it, but they're worried about Joey and his habit of saying the first thing that comes into his head. However, they promise to be near Joey during the interview, which takes place in the coffee house. There, Joey tells the reporter about his life, while we see some flash-backs of old episodes. But when Joey's about to say something wrong, everyone rushes in and stops him. Then Joey talks about his friends and who could be his best friend. Written by Alejandro Frias

Interviewer: One last question. Other than "Days of Our Lives" what other soap operas do you watch?
Joey: Oh I don't watch soap operas. I mean excuse me, I have a life you know.
Interviewer: Thank you. I'm sure the readers of Soap Opera Digest will be very interested to hear that.

The One with Joey's Interview
3 September 2011 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Just another of time waste episodes This time it is about Joey.

The "plot" is that he is giving an interview to Soap Opera Digest and is scared that he will mess it up again. So he has the whole group sitting there making sure he doesn't say anything dumb

And of course more than 75% of the episodes are flashback from the shows reminding us of Joey's past work and love life

He still does say slightly dumb things, like calling himself "mento" or saying that he doesn't know any huge gay people

But the most stupid thing comes at the end when he says how he thinks Soaps sucks and he doesn't watch them. That was actually not a bad joke
