Storyline

In the beginning, the 6 friends plus Tag are sitting on the roof looking for comets. Later, everyone goes inside except for Ross and Joey, who takes the tube that was holding the door open off. Ross and Joey are then locked on the roof until they get the idea to go down the fire escape. Phoebe's fire alarm keeps beeping and it won't stop. She eventually breaks the fire alarm and throws it down the trash chute. A fireman returns the fire alarm to Phoebe, who can't stop the fire alarm because the reset button broke off. Monica and Chandler can't sleep, so Chandler insists on having sex. Rachel realized that she forgets to mail something out at work, so she and Tag stop by the office. Rachel says she left them on Tag's desk, but she finds them on her own desk. She doesn't want to be proved wrong, so she makes Tag go check the copy room and then Rachel drops the papers in Tags desk. Written by rsuddhi93

Quotes

Chandler: How about we just talk all night like we did when we started going out?
Monica: Alright. That does sound like fun.
Chandler: [referring to Monica's book] So how bummed were you when the second sister died?
Monica: The second sister dies?
Chandler: No. I meant the second sister dies in the book I was reading.
Monica: The second sister dies in "Archie and Jughead: Double Digest"?
Chandler: [embarrassed] That's correct.

The One Where They're Up All Night
22 August 2011 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

It is interesting in this episode how everyone doesn't want to hear what Ross got to say about those comments. I can see that people may not always want to hear a lecture about something that is not the main topic of their interest on a free night, but if I would be watching the comments I sure as hell would like to know something

I really liked the storyline of Ross and Joey trying to get down from the building. Well acted by both and very funny. It just irked me when they both were saying why they don't want to jump and people laughed when Joey said "We are even", as if only people who have kids have a right to live and not be injured

Rachel and Tag were fun as well. I liked how at the end Tag ended up putting the forms on her desk even though she trying to cheat

Monica and Chandler weren't bad too. Pretty funny. I especially loved the ending, brilliant!

And Phoebe was alright, but I think her storyline was the least funny one
