Rachel and Joey fear for Ross's state of mind after he finds out about their relationship. Chandler and Monica visit some friends of Phoebe to get advice on adoption. Frank and the triplets come to visit.
Ross deals with finding out about Rachel and Joey's relationship almost as well as when he found out about Monica and Chandler. Ross invites Rachel and Joey to a dinner party with him and Charlie. At dinner, Ross gets drunk quickly and embarrasses himself. Rachel and Charlie go home which leaves Joey taking care of Ross. In the morning, Joey and Ross talk and Ross says he will get used to Joey and Rachel. Frank Jr. and his kids come to town and he asks Phoebe to have one of them, but he is not willing to give up any of them. Chandler and Monica visit friends of Phoebe's who adopted a son but Chandler accidentally reveals to their son that he was adopted after which he tells Frank Jr.'s kids that Phoebe gave birth to them which they also did not know. At Ross' place while having margaritas, Ross suggests they all should take a trip. After that he asks where they could go, but his lips don't move. The sound track is clearly originally from the next shot. See more »
I own all 10 seasons of FRIENDS, and I'll admit, I've probably watched them more than I should, but by far, THIS is honestly one of the funniest episodes of FRIENDS. David Schwimmer plays drunk SOO well in this episode. He is so incredibly funny, and so are Jennifer Aniston, Matt Leblanc and Aisha Tyler, who share the scenes with him. But even more, the second story with Courteney Cox-Arquette and Matthew Perry is just as funny when Chandler lets it slip that the son of the friends of Phoebe's is adopted. Furthermore, when he lets the triplets know that it was Phoebe who gave birth to them, he follows it up with one of the funniest lines of the episode. "I'm going to go tell Emma she was an accident." It's just such another reason to call the writers of FRIENDS some of the best. They can come up with original comedy, even after 10 years! Every episode, no matter how many times I've seen them, I laugh as if it's my first time. Even if you've never ever watched FRIENDS before, watch this episode. You'll laugh so hard. 10 out of 10, definitely.
