Storyline

Monica sings at Mike's bar, and everyone likes her singing. Later, Phoebe learns that the only reason they think she is good is because they can see through her shirt. Ross tries to move on after seeing Gavin and Rachel kissing. Rachel finds out that he kept a message from that guy at the bar away from her. Rachel decides to move in with Joey again. Joey must get a waxing for his eyebrows to get a part, but chickens out after he gets one eyebrow done. Chandler was able to fix his eyebrows so they look somewhat normal. Written by Anonymous

Oh dear, those eyebrows
9 August 2017 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

This episode has a lot going on, and to its credit does an awful lot right.

Ross trying to pick up women was a funny story line, especially when he brought the oddest one back to the apartment. The whole Ross and Rachel story line in this 9th series has been a little annoying at times, but here it is well played.

The Joey story line was typically funny, with Matt LeBlanc on good form.

I could take or leave the Monica/Phoebe story line, and I agree with another reviewer that Phoebe has been altered as a character slightly this series. Chandler seems to float between all three story lines too, and that was nice.

Yes the episode wastes its main guest star (Dermot Mulroney) but on the whole its another good episode.
