Creepy Dog Collar, 7 June 2007
10/10
Author: spider63 from United States

Even though the premise is silly, this episode was much better than it should have been due to the intense acting by the late Denis Forest. He plays Aubrey Ross, a disturbed fireman who has had a lot of personal tragedy and bad luck until he comes across a cursed dog collar. Like most of the cursed objects in the F13 TV series, the owner must kill someone in order to get the benefits of the cursed power. In this case, the collar will grant its owner's dream, one death at a time.

Aubrey's wife left him, and that was the last straw. So when he gets the collar and kills a fellow fire-fighter, he discovers that his sick dog suddenly gets healthy (even his dog was dying). One thing leads to another, and Aubrey realizes that by killing people he can transfer his wife's soul and body into his dog (weird and kinky). I won't spoil what happens next, but like most of the cursed objects, the end result is never what you expect, and nobody lives happily ever after. Overall, this was an entertaining episode because Denis Forest had me believing that the dog was his wife.
