Quotes

Neal Schweiber: [seeing Sam in the Parisian nightsuit] Oh, my God. I guess Elvis hasn't left the building.
Bill Haverchuck: Hey, don't make fun of him. That's a Parisian nightsuit, in case you didn't know.
Sam Weir: Hey, you guys...
Gordon Crisp: [interrupting] A Parisian? Ooh la la!
Neal Schweiber: No, no. It's a jumpsuit. My grandpa in Fort Lauderdale wears them all the time because he's too lazy to put on pants.

This is probably my favorite episode
7 July 2009 | by (Netherlands) – See all my reviews

This is probably my favorite episode for many reasons.

While it still maintains the wit and great dialog, it is also a more emotional episode. It deals with growing up, changing and trying to be who you are not.

Sam for example tried to be different, someone he is not and did not feel comfortable with just to impress a girl. and what happened? he was laughed at and Cindy remained unimpressed.

Lindsay on the other hand, had an accident and blamed her freaky friends. She tried to be the girl she used to be only to find out that she couldn't because it wasn't her anymore. I loved the last scene of the episode, not only does she care about her friends but they (especially Daniel and Kim) are also very fond of her.

One of my favorite scenes of the episode is when she insults them, it made them think about their future a little bit. Lindsay is a great influence, especially on Kim. And all of them showed up to support Linds during the mathlete thing.

I can relate to both Sam and Lindsay, heck, most people have tried to be someone else just to fit in. But it never works, not for me anyway.

Five stars. Very touching, very funny, very clever. I love this show.
