Kim has two problems: her parents want to take her car, and she needs an alibi for nights she's staying out, probably with Daniel. So, she invites an unsuspecting Lindsay to come to dinner. Meanwhile, Karen Scarfolli, who hangs out with Kim and Daniel, bullies Sam unmercifully and gets him into trouble when he tries to remove graffiti she's put on his locker. Things come to a head at the Weir dinner table. Written by

My aunt Cathy was so rad. She lived in L.A., she was on "Kojak." She doinked Ryan O'Neal once at a party.
Wow, she sounds awesome!
Yeah, well she's dead. She OD'd on coke.

This was once again, a lovely episode rich of character development, friendship and hilarious dialog.
There were some of the funniest scenes of the show in this particular episode. One that cracks me up badly is when Sam burps during dinner and Harold naturally thinks that he's gonna blow up.
Sam's storyline in this episode was a little frustrating, I honestly never liked Sam much and didn't feel bad for him getting bullied by Karen.
Lindsay's bonding with Kim was far more interesting in my opinion. She got to meet her crazy family and see her get really p!ssed off after finding Karen sucking on Daniel's thumb. Once again, a hilarious scene with a nice and dry closing line 'She's p!ssed'.
Dinner at the Weir's place was awkward, especially once Kim and Daniel made up and end up making out in the kitchen. I loved their make up scene, she slapped him pretty hard in the face.
FOUR stars for this great and underrated episode.
