Storyline

Lindsay encourages Nick to pursue a career in music. Nick continues to practice with his current band, but quickly decides he's better than them. At the 2000 Young Artist Awards, the series won the award for Best Family Television Series, Comedy. It also received a nomination for Best Performance in a Television Series by a Young Ensemble. John Francis Daley, Samm Levine, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, Martin Starr, Sarah Hagan and Jarrett Lennon were included in the nomination. This episode was originally scheduled to air 20 Nov 99. After this airing, the series went on hiatus for nearly two months before moving from Saturdays (where it had picked up awful ratings) to Mondays. See more »

Goofs

In the opening scene we see the 8 track tape for Rush's "Exit Stage Left" and in the closing scene we hear Nick listening to the live version of "The Spirit of Radio" from the same album. Although the episode takes place in late 1980, this album was not released until October 1981. See more »
