Did You Know?

During their conversation about Phil Patterson's belief that he had been "beamed up" to an alien vessel, Niles says to Frasier "Are you kidding me? I'm a doctor, not a miracle worker!" This is likely a reference to the famous catchphrase "I'm a doctor, not a...(insert various professions)" spoken by Dr. Leonard McCoy in Star Trek (1966).See more »

Roz:Don't you both owe each other an apology?
Frasier:Well, yes! But I was the first to apologize last time. Oh wait, that means it's his turn! Oh, goody, I can be mature about this!
[Frasier goes to Niles's table]
Frasier:After last night's behavior, I believe an apology is in order.
Niles:I agree... Well?
Frasier:"Well," what?
Niles:It's your turn. I apologized first last time.
Frasier:No, you didn't!

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

Martin and the Crane boys are divided in terms of who to back in a local election, and it makes for an interesting, if not outstanding episode of the show.

I thought John Mahoney was good here, Martin has become less of a grump and more lovable as time has gone on, and this episode is a good example of that.

It's an episode of twists and turns, but there are enough good laughs, as well as the always welcome sight of Bulldog.

Although I felt they could have done more with Niles and his reaction to the situation overall this was a good episode.
