Always fun to watch the windbag get put in his place.

A nice start to season 3 even though from this point on we will never have a whole season as good as season 1 or 2. Its a treat to see Grammar acting cocky and getting put down, especially by a woman. He's lovably pompous and entertaining, as is the rest of the cast. Watching him adjust to change and fight with women on equal footing is hilarious. Bulldog and Gil are appropriately over the top as usual. Roz steps it up a notch and not only displays her seriously tough side, but also has a few nice zingers. Niles and Martin don't get to do much beside pick on Frasier but its still funny.

Season 3 follows with even more and better episodes but gets off to a nice start here.

Butting Heads
Hitchcoc1 October 2019
A new female station manager puts a little oomph in the first show. She is an incredibly capable person, but has a significant hard side. Frasier tries his usual pushiness but she will have none of it. Soon he and Roz are doing the graveyard shift and very unhappy. It's all about image here.

The Test of Time

This episode is more than twenty years old. I have watched it more times than I can recall. And yet there are lines that still make me laugh out loud every time I hear them. That's a testament to amazing talents of everyone involved.

New manager
puzgolac2 February 2023
In this opening episode of the third season, Frasier's radio station gets a new manager. The new boss is a woman, so we get some very cliche scenes about how men find it hard to work for women, but they are kept fairly light-hearted, so they are bearable. The character of the new boss seems interesting and well written, but the problem is the very weak acting of the actress that plays her. And that is especially noticeable since all of her scenes are with Kelsey Grammer and the difference between the acting quality of the two is staggering. While Kelsey owns every scene, the boss lady actress looks like someone they borrowed from a kindergarten play.

A decent start to series 3
studioAT26 September 2017
The first episode of the third series of 'Frasier' introduces the new station manager, Kate Costas, and Frasier instantly gets put in his place at meeting a woman who can stand up to him.

I'm not that mad about the Kate Costas character, I hope she doesn't stay long, but it was nice to see Frasier knocked down a peg or two.

It was a shame the rest of the cast (Martin/Niles/Daphne) were a bit underused, but it was great to see Roz being much more central.

A decent start to series three.
