Daphne's Family: Not One Redeeming Quality
Hitchcoc30 October 2019
While I enjoyed this episode, I can't help but wonder why anyone would want to have anything to do with Daphne's parents. They are self centered and quite disgusting. The mother is whiney and has nothing positive to offer in any circumstances. The father is a leech with no life prospects. Apparently, they were like this through all of Daphne's childhood, so they never grew apart--they always were. I was also annoyed by Daphne's ingratitude when Niles did everything he could to make her happy and deal with these ugly Britishers. OK--it's only a show, but I suppose we have to be subjected to them again.

One of the best episodes ever

Warning: Spoilers
The scenes with Niles and Mr. Moon in the English pub were just downright Hilarious. Roz's rating card scenes with Frasier was fantastic, especially when Frasier gets miffed and mentions her hairy legs. "Did Sting happen to mention your hairy legs, cause there's a rain forest that could use some attention!" Scene with Daphne and her Dad were sweet, and Daphne suddenly realizing how much Niles loves her and opting to get married right away just as sweet.

The part with the dog was hilarious
ilovekittiesdotcom12 June 2008
I gave the episode such a high rating because of only one joke in the episode: the part where the dog grabs on to Niles's leg. For some reason after I saw that I couldn't stop laughing. I know it shouldn't have made me laugh so hard, but it did. It was one of those jokes that for some reason, even though it normally would have made me chuckle, it made me laugh out loud until my eyes watered. I don't know why I thought it was that funny I just did. It was weird! I like the show Frasier, not love but like, and I still smile when I think about it. The people who created the show are very funny and still intelligent. I like this show.

Moons Over Seattle

Warning: Spoilers
Oh great, another episode featuring the Moon family at great length. Why did 'Frasier' bother with these characters again and again when clearly they are rubbish?! Maybe the studio audience really reacted well to them. Maybe the show was ailing at this point and they killed time.

Other than the final scene between Daphne and Niles I didn't care for this episode much at all.

While it's good they didn't totally ignore the Frasier/Roz storyline from last time around it wasn't exactly handled well, and Frasier came across as a whiny schoolboy.

Overall, the ninth series of the show has been an improvement on the eighth, with some good episodes that show that 'Frasier' can still hit the heights of its first seven years. However when the dud episodes come around (there have been a few of these in the latter half of the ninth) they tend to be real clunkers.
