Character error

The characters refer to Martin's fear that Niles wishes to hurt him as being an expression of the unconscious. While this may be understandable for him to use this term, as a lay person, it is not so when Fraser uses it at the end of the episode, in the hallway, when trying to explain his rude behavior toward Martin to his love interest who has appeared as the elevator door opens.

The correct term would be the subconscious, not the unconscious.

Continuity

When Daphne says her work is done, Niles drops the bag of groceries. When we see Niles and Frasier again, Frasier is holding the bag and there is no evidence it has been dropped.
