A step above a clip show

OK, to be fair, a small step, but still.

Watching someone walk down the street thinking about the answer to a question. Not exactly "must see" tv.

A few bright moments, but mostly pretty dull.

The Big Question
Hitchcoc9 October 2019
As is usually the case, Frasier's sense of self importance trumps everything else. He is asked by Niles if he thinks that he and Maris are meant for each other. While Niles throws this out, it becomes a total obsession with Frasier. There is one sad scene. Frasier has a date with a really nice young woman who is taken with him. In his consummate cluelessness, he turns her off. His lack of focus may have cost him someone who could be significant.

An episode that grabbed my attention and kept it.

In this episode, Niles asks Frasier if he thinks that Niles and Maris are meant to be together, like usual, Frasier over analyzes the question and turns to every source he knows. Until he finally came to a conclusion

Go watch and see if Frasier says yes or no

A must skip episode

The show typically has outstanding writing. Evidently somebody wrote this episode. The only thing worse perhaps is a clip episode, or maybe fingernails on a chalkboard. I guess they can't all be zingers.

The episode is very flat and boring but gets way worse when Frasier is walking down streets of Seattle with horrid saxophone playing that drags on and on and on. If you watch anyway, I recommend fast forwarding the street walk scene. The editors must have been on a coffee break when this got pushed through.

Skip this episode and spare yourself the time and agony. You will thank me later... . .
