Mildly interesting and nothing more

Charles Boyer stars in this particular episode of "Four Star Playhouse". He's a major who is dedicated to duty and has been implicated in the assassination of an American doctor. He and the other folks involved in the killing are being questioned at a tribunal and over time it becomes obvious that the purpose of this investigation is less about punishing those responsible but figuring out how to spin the incident and concoct a series of lies to satisfy the press and the American government.

The show is filled with a lot of intrigue and all, but never particularly interested me. Now this isn't to say that I didn't like the acting--like all the episodes of the series, it featured terrific actors. But the story itself seemed a bit dull--at least until the twist near the end.
