- Nick and Schanke have to protect a rock n' roll star whose life is threatened.
- Rebecca (Tracey Cook) sings the blues, actually rock 'n' roll, but with a longing to leave the stage. Even though surrounded by millions of fans, Rebecca's so alone no one hears her. A dead man in her room, has her seeing murder charges and even more isolation. "The whole point of going out, is not to be seen," she admits.
Dreaming being a star, Nicholas the Vampire, Det. Nick Knight (Geraint Wyn Davies), hears, "Come on, Nicholas, you can't escape the fans. Your soul has been sold out for weeks, in twenty-three cities," from LaCroix (Nigel Bennett) as he leaves him to his fantasy.
Ironically, during a Rebecca Concert a fanatic fan brings in a gun and shoots up the stage, killing all that doesn't escape the flying bullets. This assist Nick in uncovering the true murderer of the dead man in Rebecca's room, as he covers the body of the supposedly concert star. Later, an impulse takes Knight back to the dressing rooms of Rebecca. Hearing a heartbeat, he discovers her stashed in a cabinet, by Wendy (Nahanni Johnstone), her stand-in, who was also responsible for the death of the man in Rebecca's room and the now dead girl laying in the morgue.
