A plane full of trouble
15 November 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This was another one of those episode where I wondered throughout how Flipper could possibly save the day.

First of all, I was surprised at how easily Porter agreed to let Sandy go on the plane ride with Flipper so the pretty lady could stay at Coral Key and play with him. I didn't expect Porter to just say "yes" like that. After all, it is a big responsibility, and I don't believe Sandy had ever been away from his father like that before. A parent usually has to prepare himself for something like this but Porter seemed to have no trouble.

With that said, it's also interesting that Bud was off visiting his grandmother. I wonder if Porter sent him away so he could Flipper to the lab without much trouble. If you remember from Season 1, there was an episode where Bud fought tooth and nail to keep his pet close by his side.

But I haven't even gotten to the dangerous situation that occurs. I don't want to reveal too much, but let me just say that Porter had a "bad feeling" and when a flock of birds make the plane "unflyable," it's a good thing they were over the ocean. It's a bad thing that Sandy was trapped...enough said!
