26 September 2007 | by (Los Angeles) – See all my reviews

"Hap" Gorman (Andy Devine) is entertaining Sandy (Luke Halpin), Bud (Tommy Norden), and Flipper with some of his ten foot tall fish tales, when interrupted by a car's horn - it's Lee Philips (as Dick Johnson) and his son Rene Burau (as Tim Johnson). While Hap rents Mr. Philips a boat for fishing, his boy meets the Ricks brothers. Turns out, Philips is a con; he's taken his son from a foster home and plans the fake their deaths by blowing up the rented boat, while they escape and adopt new identities. Next... Hap, Sandy, and Bud are fishing nearby; they see, and board, the abandoned boat, unaware is rigged to blow up within minutes! Ricks (Brian Kelly) goes after the Johnsons, and learns the danger awaiting Hap and his sons…
