Stock footage

In this episode, Sandy and Porter are depending on Flipper to deliver something out to the plane stranded on the ocean so Porter can repair it and get home. Flipper has to stop and help a couple people on the way.

You see obvious stock footage. The first is when Flipper is saving the woman. It is the EXACT scene underwater as in "Flipper and the Mermaid" (first episode from Season 1). Even the reason for her attack is similar. The underwater rescue (hitting her head on the rock even) is obvious stock footage - probably from a stunt person...

Also, I can't name the episode, but when Flipper is saving the man I think this is also stock footage from an earlier episode. Saved money, I suppose.

I think this one was a bit hard to believe - that Flipper understood exactly what to do with this bottle and how important it was to get it there...
