Unable to get the perfect gift for Wilma's birthday, Fred gives her a "doozy dodo bird" who talks, that she accepts reluctantly. At the same evening, Fred and Barney attend the Water Buffalo meeting where they announce a major convention in Frantic City. Aware most of their wives will not let them go there, the Grand Poobah will send a fake doctor to give them a case of "dipsy-doodlitis" to excuse them from their home. However, all goes well, but the dodo bird overhears and repeats what the false doctor said. Fred and Barney must get ride of the bird before it snitches to Betty and Wilma... The Buffalo Convention
25 October 2015 | by (India) – See all my reviews

The Flintstones is an animated, prime-time American television sitcom that was broadcast from September 30, 1960 to April 1, 1966, on ABC. The show, produced by Hanna-Barbera, fancifully depicted the lives of a working-class Stone Age man, his family, and his next-door neighbor and best friend.

The show's continuing popularity rested heavily on its juxtaposition of modern everyday concerns in the Stone Age setting. The Flintstones was the most financially successful network animated franchise for three decades, until The Simpsons debuted. In 2013, TV Guide ranked The Flintstones the second Greatest TV Cartoon of All Time (after The Simpsons).

Fred, Barney, and the other members of the Loyal Order of Water Buffaloes are informed that they'll be going to Frantic City for a convention for three days — without the wives. Their wives are lulled into agreement by a phony "doctor" (in actuality, a plumber who belongs to the lodge) who convinces them that their husbands need an out-of-town break for a few days. Meanwhile, Fred buys a talking dodo bird named Doozy for Wilma. Naturally, once the boys leave, Doozy informs Wilma about the husbands' entire plan, so Wilma and Betty and the other water Buffalo wives follow them to Frantic City. Once Wilma and Betty and the other wives see the beauties that have exited the cake, they are attacked by the wives and chased out of the convention hall. When Fred and Barney are chosen to open the cake, they are unpleasantly surprised to find two very familiar, raging-mad women awaiting them!
