Fred has a string in his finger: he must get something for one member of his family. Thinking it is Pebbles, Wilma makes him remember that it is Dino's birthday. Dino is quite disappointed. However, Fred mistakenly thinks Dino tried to attack Pebbles while trying to save her. The next day, Dino runs away from home. The Flinstones are sad, especially Pebbles who don't want to eat at all. Fred and Barney take all means to bring Dino back. They think Dino was dog-napped by an obnoxious movie producer who has a Dino look-a-like. Fred bets he'll spend one week in Dino's dog house if it's the wrong dog he chose... Written by RealLiveClaude

Dino Disappears
25 October 2015 | by (India) – See all my reviews

The Flintstones is an animated, prime-time American television sitcom that was broadcast from September 30, 1960 to April 1, 1966, on ABC. The show, produced by Hanna-Barbera, fancifully depicted the lives of a working-class Stone Age man, his family, and his next-door neighbor and best friend.

The show's continuing popularity rested heavily on its juxtaposition of modern everyday concerns in the Stone Age setting. The Flintstones was the most financially successful network animated franchise for three decades, until The Simpsons debuted. In 2013, TV Guide ranked The Flintstones the second Greatest TV Cartoon of All Time (after The Simpsons).

Fred mistakenly forgets Dino's birthday, but gets gifts for Pebbles. Dino gets jealous and Fred drags Dino outside. The next day, Dino is missing. The Flintstones start crying when Dino means so much to them because he disappeared. Even Barney comes in and starts crying. Fred and Barney search for Dino, and they think he's been kidnapped by a man and according to the man, his name is "Rocky" and he is a stunt/dancing animal and they plan to get him back. Later at night, Fred and Barney takes "Rocky" and are chased by cops and they wind up in court and the real Dino pops up in court while being chased by dogcatchers and everything is back to normal, except Fred now has to stay in Dino's doghouse after saying," he'll sleep in his doghouse for a week if that Dino was not The Flintstones' right pet."
