Outstanding Season Finale
18 December 2006 | by (New York,NY USA) – See all my reviews

The Decision episode are like the usual television gimmick where an entire episode is made up of scenes from past episodes to pad it out and then uses a wraparound to hold it all together.I don't know how many times I've seen this done in other television shows but it almost always doe not work! Not only has this gimmick been a waste of time but highly offensive to the viewer's intelligence. How many times have I seen a leading protagonist badly wounded while the supporting actor's and actresses remember via flashback (Re-used previous episode scenes) how badly injured protagonist saved the day somehow? It's offensive! Now, despite all I stated I have to say in this episode it works!!! A secret conference of top Gua operatives are deciding whether to start the Second Wave.Joshua who seems to have demonstrated by now that his Gua loyalties have been compromised by his observations of human behavior over several decades argues that the planned Second Wave may be too premature at this time uses the past activities of Subject 117 as an example of human will to survive and that the Second Wave should be delayed for now until more study has been made.Joshua's antagonist is Maya who pretty much acts as the excuse for Joshua to recount different episodes involving Cade Foster.

The episode works despite my somewhat clumsy writing.I would highly recommend not seeing this episode until you have seen all the previous 21 episodes leading to this one. It's to recommended way to savior this surprisingly well done finale.
