The Alliance has placed a bounty on River Tam's head and a bounty Hunter named Jubal Early sets out to claim the bounty and tracks down the Serenity crew. Jubal sneaks on-board the Serenity while the crew is asleep to capture River and Simon and return them to the Alliance, so he can be paid for their capture and only River can stop him. Written by
Did You Know?
The bounty hunter, Jubal Early, was named after layer and Confederate general, Jubal Anderson Early (November 3, 1816 - March 2, 1894), who attempted (and failed) to invade Washington, D.C. in 1864. Joss Whedon
named the character as such after hearing that Nathan Fillion
is related to the general, who died in 1894. Jubal Early is also the name of a ferry between the Maryland and Virginia sides of the Potomac River. See more
When Jubal Early has landed on Serenity after leaving his craft, he looks into the Galley through the external windows. He crawls forward on the exterior of the hull and places his hand on the window frame just before his head appears from the top of the window. He is in Free Space but his hand is bare, not in the Space suit glove he was wearing when he closed the Airlock on his own craft. See more
How come there's a guy on board and how come you're all of a sudden the ship?
I know you have questions
That would be why I just asked them.
