Out of work for three months Rich pitches his idea for game show 'Star Golfing Secrets' to BBC head of nice entertainment Jumbo Whiffy but Whiffy tricks him into signing over the rights for two pints. Hearing that his father is dying Rich proposes to cash in on it by inviting celebrities to the funeral but when father recovers considers murder. This plan is also scotched when Rich gets a letter from his mother to explain that nobody knows who his real father is - though she does enclose an exploding birthday cake.
