Storyline

A local man and a friend of Murphy has a daughter he cannot control. At his wits end, Emmas father brings her to Gold Hill. She proves to be a bad influence on the Gold Hill kids, but trouble really comes when Emma falls in love with Murphy. She figures that if she gets Gold Hill closed down, Murphy will have to go off with her, so she tells Rodman of Murphy's secret. This creates a crisis and it looks like Rodman will finally have his way and have the kids transfered to the Claymore work camp. Meanwhile Fr. Parker continues to be blocked by Garrett in purchasing a building for a church. Written by dtwiddo@yahoo

Goofs

Early in the episode, we hear and see that Garrett is having his name added to signs around town, including the general store, hotel, and saloon. After Murphy fakes being drunk in Garrett's saloon and Garrett says he is going to make sure Murphy gets the building, there is a shot of a wagon going by Garrett's saloon and General Store. Notice the signs - now they are back to the old saloon sign and the Garrett name is not under the General Store sign. A little while later after the "wait for the wagon" song, there Garrett sign is under the General Store sign again. After the proposal, the Garrett sign under the General Store disappears again. After getting the papers signed, the old Saloon sign is back up. At the last scene after the wedding, the old Saloon sign is up. See more »
