Into the belly of the beast

Warning: Spoilers
When Moya's crew come aboard Scorpius' Command Carrier it quickly becomes apparent that most of those aboard do not consider them welcome guests whatever Scorpius has said. Indeed it isn't long before it becomes apparent that they aren't safe as D'Argo is attacked by a Peacekeeper who had a rotary saw instead of a hand on his artificial arm! Crichton sets about working with Scorpius hoping to find away to sabotage his research and Crais begins the repairs on Talyn with the help of an old friend. The others, with the exception of Aeryn return to Moya but are soon back when Moya is attacked and captured by Peacekeepers; not those under Scorpius command though; these are under the command of Commandant Grayza. She is keen to see Scorpius removed from his command; this makes life very dangerous for Crichton as he and Scorpius are wearing the bracelets, shown in the previous episode, that means whatever one of them suffers then so does the other.

This was a fine episode to a two part story; from the moment they arrived in the command carrier there was a sense of tension that quickly escalated to real danger. The fight scenes were well handled; particularly the one between D'Argo and the saw-handed assailant... the later one between John and Aeryn and multiple attackers was pretty good but let down by some weaker than usual special effects. It was interesting to see Aeryn and Crais dealing with former colleagues both because of how they had to confront what they had given up and because of how they are now considered traitors. Rebecca Riggs makes a welcome addition to the cast as Commandant Grayza; she might not have had much to do in this episode but anybody who will stand up to Scorpius is likely to be a dangerous character... I have a feeling we will be seeing quite a bit more of her in future episodes.
