When Crichton and Noranti return to Moya something appears to be wrong; nobody initially replies to their calls; eventually Pilot replies but his message, which sounds perfectly innocuous, is full of hints that something is very wrong and indeed it is. Moya has been boarded by a group of Coreeshi bounty hunters who are after the bounty Grayza has offered for Crichton. Having realised something is wrong John flies round Moya and spots the aliens' ship; he then crashes his pod into it cutting off their means of escape. Moya's crew have all been captured and held on magnetic cuffs; one person remains free though... if John wants to defeat the bounty hunters he will have to work with Scorpius! They set about picking off the Coreeshi one at a time but there is a problem they hadn't figured on; the Coreeshi have technology to shrink prisoners who are then stored in canisters within their armour... they claim that if they die so do the prisoners! If that didn't make things hard enough the head bounty hunter isn't quite what he appears to be.
This is another fun episode which sees Scorpius cast in the role of the good guy for a change. I liked how Sikozu explained various valid scientific reasons why it was impossible for them to have been shrunk like that only for Rygel to point out that since it happened it must be possible! The twist involving the leader of the bounty hunters was good and came as a real surprise; so much so that I won't spoil it here... this character gets a great end too! The only weak point was when the shrunken Aeryn rode a DRD to attack one of the bounty hunters; the effect wasn't up to the usual high standards of the show and looked rather fake. The ending, where Pilot talks about heading into 'Tormented Space' suggests that things are about to get even more interesting in upcoming episodes.
