- Mandy Breem sold her soul to the Devil to save her husband Phillip's life and now needs Roarke's help in saving her own; and Tattoo makes Fred Catlett a millionaire for the weekend, only to put the man's life in danger.
- "The Devil and Mandy Breem": Amanda Breem's fantasy is a mysterious one: she wants merely to save her life, but she won't tell Roarke what or whom from. Only a chance encounter at a luau provides the key Roarke needs to unravel the mystery. Mandy's husband, Philip, was nearly killed in a car wreck a year before; desperate to save his life, she sold her soul to Mephistopheles. Now the devil is back looking to collect payment. Naturally, Mandy's having second thoughts about the deal she made, and wants Roarke to save her. While she's pleading her case, Philip unexpectedly appears on the island; and when he hears the story, he volunteers to take Mandy's place and insists on going with her when the time comes. But Roarke has another plan: he will offer himself, Mandy and Philip to Mephistopheles in an all-or-nothing deal. At the confrontation, Roarke reveals that Mandy is pregnant: the unborn baby is not included in the deal, so if the devil can't take all of them, he can't take any of them, and is thus foiled. "Instant Millionaire" (actual title): Tattoo's at it again -- he's decided to take on a fantasy that Roarke rejected on two previous occasions. It sounds quite simple, for Fred Catlett just wants to be a millionaire. However, when Tattoo asks Roarke for help, Roarke refuses and informs his assistant that he's on his own. Stumped, Tattoo comes across a package which turns out to contain a "genuine" Aladdin's lamp...or is it? It's the only way Tattoo can grant Fred's fantasy, so he meets up with Fred in secret and talks the skeptical guest into rubbing the lamp and making a wish...and to their astonishment, it works when a suitcase full of money comes crashing through a window. Fred's living it up and having a blast...but he's being watched. Two bank robbers and their reluctant female apprentice had just stolen the money and had jettisoned the suitcase during pursuit by police; now they want it back. They use the woman to capture Fred and demand the money; Fred makes a spur-of-the-moment deal to have Tattoo "conjure" the full million dollars by rubbing the lamp, and tricks the money-hungry crooks into agreeing. In a graveyard Tattoo, armed with a gun, manages to have the two men captured, and admits to Fred that he's been told by Roarke that the lamp isn't real after all. Fred thinks he's headed home still poor, still single and (maybe) wiser...till he finds out that the "apprentice" of the robbers is actually an undercover police officer, who leaves the island with him.
