Trivia

In the "Smith" portion, three of the four men either had played or would play men in law enforcement in recurring roles. Hugh O'Brian had played Wyatt Earp on The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp (1955) for 6 seasons, Leslie Nielsen was Detective Frank Drebin on Police Squad! (1982) for one season and three follow up movies, and Charles Dierkop was Detective Pete Royster on Police Woman (1974) for 4 seasons. With the passing of O'Brian in 2016, only Dierkop is still alive. See more »
