Storyline

A man who's been poisoned and has less than a day to live, comes to Fantasy Island and wants two more days to live to go to a place known as The Sanctuary which is a haven for killers. Because he wants to find the one who poisoned him and to find out what he was poisoned with so that he could be cured. Mr. Roarke gives him a potion that will extend his life. He goes to The Sanctuary and with his only clue-- a strand of hair, he sets out to find his killer. While there he meets a girl who "belongs" to one of the guests. When he sees she is being mistreated he tries to help especially when she tries to kill herself. Roarke shows up and reveals the girl is there on a fantasy of her own. He offers to forego his fantasy to help her. But the guy who owns her won't let her go. And a woman whose husband died a few years ago has three men vying for her and she needs help to not only choose which one but to also let go of her husband. Roarke offers her a special help. Strange brew
19 September 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

A strange cast was assembled for this episode, and both stories had their strange moments as well. Some faces included Bobby Sherman, Sid Haig(talk about strange!), Gene Barry, Eva Gabor(tired of the accent already), a wooden Michael Cole, and Morgan Brittany, whose real name is Suzanne Cupito, and I don't know why I feel the need to mention that. The better story had Sherman's character(Thomas Henshaw)on the island trying to find out who poisoned him, and what the motive was. Even though I don't know much about either of them, both Haig and "Brittany", or Cupito, were better than anyone else, which isn't saying all that much, but both of them were solid anyway. I found both Sherman and Cole, especially him, quite dull and uninteresting. I'll give it credit for being a fairly original plot though, even though I thought it could've been written better, but I thought it ended well. The other story seems like a silly fantasy, as Anastasia Dexter(fancy name)wishes to be rid of her dead husband's influence on her wanting to meet other snobby men to marry. There's a few rather corny special effects, such as Mr. Dexter's ghost appearing than disappearing, and there's a really bad one when Anastasia's car goes over a cliff, and then she changes her mind about killing herself, and, you guessed it, the car goes in reverse, or the camera goes in reverse in a classic face palm moment. Don't feel bad if you missed this episode, I'll save you the trouble and tell you it's mediocre at best.
