Valentines day episode? snore.

I really hate when both story plots have to do with falling in love. Add to that both stories had uninteresting characters that i just didn't care for or feel chemistry about. I mean one couple was from Indiana, snore, the other was a ex bimbo of some kind and a guy who wants to be Governor of Illoinois. Probably currently a senator after being a community organizer. he should try harder. Any how the FIrst one was this couple that have been together for 25 years. They are the Indiana ones and its plain to see. They want to forget each other and see how they would do, if they were on a tropical Fantasy island i guess, with hot people all over and how they are sure they would fall in love first sight. Rourke warns them they are tempting fate but as usual they don't listen. I mean then we wouldn't have a show if people listened to that. They kinda panic but do it anyway. And then they see each other and keep walking . so it will be difficult. She meets some suave guy who travels the world, he meets some hot blond who likes exercising with him. The lady is swept off her feet and may fly to Rome with him the next morning, cause he says stuff like she is adorable, though her jokes stink. So long story short, the couple do meet, have awkward chats, and they seem to always go back to the other people. The blond asks the guy to test drive her later on, i was like, that's real hot. But i think she may have meant something else perhaps. The guy realizes that the blond likes dancing and though she was real hot, sits out cause as i say, dancing is the stupidest thing you can do. Anyhow the whole story was bizarre. The rich guy doesn't seem to care that the guy is hitting on his past wife, and she just leaves with him every time. It just didn't make sense how emotions just flip flopped. The couple didn't even seem like they belonged together. She looked 55-60 he looked younger with brown hair and a full head of hair. and was much taller. I was thinking how unlike able they are and then they showed her running to the cabin to be with him and tattoo pulls out a bow and arrow and aims it at her and Rourke stops him. It was some stupid Cupid side story but that made me laugh. Tattoo looked so violent with the bow and arrow.

the other story was worse. So the wanna be governor and his girlfriend show up to get married and it is moving right along. til she is hugging him at the bar and sees this guy that looks like a Wayne Gretzky/ Sean Penn Hybrid looking at her. someone form her past. During the boring parts of the episode , i looked up the actor. He's been on this show before, his name is Marjoe. He used to use the bible to scam people out of money at revivals, like his parents did but he stopped. Horrible. He does kinda look like Joel Olsteen that guy who is like Oprah with a Bible spouting stuff that shows he never even read the thing . Im going off topic and ranting. So anyhow its her past coming to get her as Rourke was afraid of and she freaks out and cancels the wedding. Shes not in love with Marjoe (nicky on the show) and yet still feels the need to leave with him. But then the politician boyfriend explains to her that he knows her past cause hes a politician and they look that stuff up when you run for office. then him and Nicki fight and Nicki takes out a crappy little knife and tells him he made a mistake but Rourke pops in and grabs him by that Vulcan Wrist grab (pretty impressive as it'd be 2 years before filming Wrath of Khan i think) and as he holds his wrist, the girl is happy and hugs the politician while i wonder why they don't help Rourke completely subdue Nicki. Then Rourke throws him in the air 20 feet and i'm like "oh yeah right". They go on to have a romantic wedding, that night i think, in front of a bunch of islanders and others they don't know. Then the weird part is she is walked down the Aisle to the waiting minister/priest, you you only see the back of his head. White hair, balding, i was like, bet he's dead, and then it goes to commercial and you never see him. but on this site they claim its J O malley a surprisingly English actor. Why pay an established actor for that part where its only your head showing? is this correct? anyhow that bugged me, the whole episode bugged me. that i gave it a 4 and not lower is bugging me.
