User Reviews

both solid stories
6 January 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I will admit that I did enjoy both stories here, even though they had a bit of fluff going on, but overall, I was impressed with the writing. Some of the old faces include Jill St. John, Dick Gauthier, Gene Rayburn, Jan Murray, and Brett Halsey. I liked "The Quiz Masters" slightly better because of the weird game show Mr. Rourke set up, including the "Door of Death" for both contestants, although that particular door was rather tame. There's also a love triangle thing going on that is awkward with a younger woman with both old geezers, but this isn't exactly the most thought provoking show, even though I feel it's a better story. The other story titled "Forget Me Not" has a woman(St. John)suffering from amnesia, and sometimes she switches between "evil corporate woman" and a carefree woman who enjoys attention, especially from Gauthier, who plays the typical skirt chaser he's well known for. Neither segment blew me away, but I thought the writing was solid, and there were a few interesting scenes, even though Tattoo was once again missing in action.
