Harriette Winslow: Frank, what *did* happen with the checks?
Frank Winslow: I had a job managing a restaurant, for a while, everything was great, but then the restaurant went bankrupt and I was out of a job.
Carl Winslow: Ah, there, you see? Out of a job, passing bad checks.
Frank Winslow: My paycheck bounced! The personal checks I wrote, I thought were good when I wrote them.
Harriette Winslow: Carl, it happens, we know people that that's happened to.
Carl Winslow: Well what about now? Are you at least looking for a job?
Frank Winslow: I'm a clown.
Carl Winslow: A clown?
Harriette Winslow: [nods] You should see him in his clown makeup, he's so cute.
Frank Winslow: I'm working with a traveling carnival. Don't laugh... well actually, you're supposed to laugh, but it's steady work and I'm making good money.
Carl Winslow: [pause] Frank... I'm not going to arrest you.
Frank Winslow: Why not?
Carl Winslow: Cuz I'm gonna give you the money to pay off the debt.
Frank Winslow: [in awe] I can't ask you to do that.
Carl Winslow: I know, but we're brothers, we've got to stick together.
