Storyline

Seeking a promotion, Carl invites no-nonsense Capt. Davenport over for dinner. Simple enough, except he doesn't know that Laura - who has opened a baby-sitting service - is looking after dozens of crazy children. Carl is sure his promotion (not to mention job) is down the drain, especially when Capt. Davenport is a little tied up thanks to the kids. But things turn out OK when Capt. Davenport moans, "You ruined the game" and admits he loves children. Written by Brian Rathjen <briguy_52732@yahoo.com>

Sitting Pretty (#1.18)
2 November 2012 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

A very well done episode! I like the idea of Laura trying to do a babysitting business and it going into trouble when all the baby sitters go to Paula Abdul concert (I still find it funny that Paula Abdul was so popular then!).

The scenes with kids were very fun. I especially liked that little Rambo child who was Carl's "worst nightmare" and how he was shooting at him all the time, also how grandma shot at him at the end. And how captain got all that fun with the kids was a very funny moment as well.

It is also nice to see the little story of Rachel telling her date that she has a child and at first scaring him when he sees all the kids in the kitchen. She also looked gorgeous in her dress.
