Storyline

Carl and Fletcher quarrel over the wedding arrangements. Carl wants a big bash for his mother and future step-father, but he and Estelle wants a quiet wedding with just their closest friends and family. He may unwittingly get his wish, particularly after Waldo screws up on the invitations to Eddie's house party (on a separate weekend when the folks were to be out of town). He even goes as far as grounding Eddie for his plans to have a party. Written by Brian Rathjen <briguy_52732@yahoo.com>

Quotes

[Runs to Eddie]
Steven 'Steve' Quincy Urkel: Eddo, Eddo, Eddo! The nuptuals have developed a slight snafu.
Edward 'Eddie' James Arthur Winslow: What's wrong?
Steven 'Steve' Quincy Urkel: You remember our flyer party, the one that I'm clearly on record as totally aganst.
Edward 'Eddie' James Arthur Winslow: Yeah? What about it, Steve.
Steven 'Steve' Quincy Urkel: [He walks towards Eddie and pulls out a folded flyer he took out of his pant pocket. Then he unfolds it] Well Tell me again. Refresh my memory. When is that party supposed to be.
Edward 'Eddie' James Arthur Winslow: Next Saturday.
Steven 'Steve' Quincy Urkel: Wrong, cummerbund breath. Waldo put today's date on the flyer. Right now you have over a 100 crazed ...

Mama's Wedding (#4.19)
30 June 2013 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

And we finally have a wedding episode on Family Matters! The best is that nobody expected it to be one since the proposal only came in the last episode.

Carl wants to give his mom the best wedding he can to compensate for everything she did for him when he was a child and all her sacrifices, so he gets upset to know that she only wants a small wedding. But then he calms down and makes sure to give his mom what she wants.

And she sure had a great taste, it was a very nice garden wedding with a great aisle and beautiful dresses. I think this was the best wedding Mother Winslow could have, including all those teenagers that came because she herself is so young at heart.
