Storyline

After Eddie causes a classroom prank that could get him thrown off the basketball team, he gives a sob story to his teacher, claiming he has a bad home life. The teacher pours her sorrows out on Urkel and suggests that she pay this family a visit, unaware it is the Winslows. What she sees is a highly chaotic household, particularly since Harriette (in the subplot) had gone on strike! However, Eddie has a lot of explaining to do when the truth comes out. It's a Mad, Mad, Mad House (#4.17)
30 June 2013 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

In this episode Eddie gets in trouble in school and tries to pretend that this all happens because of him living in dis-functional family to get his teachers sympathy.

At this time Harriet also goes on strike from doing homework because nobody in the household helps out. So when the teacher comes over to check she gets to see a not so pretty picture!

This is all very well done. First of all the teacher is played by Debra Jo Rupp who is a wonderful sitcom actress and does a great job for such a character. And I love how they showed what she gets to see in Winslow house, including mother Winslow going to buy some men and Carl going for drugs!
