Storyline

Steve and Laura are getting ready for their prom night until their dates canceled on them. Curtis revealed his grandmother died and his family has to fly out to Washington to attend her funeral. Myra has been sick with pneumonia and won't be well until after a week. Maxine suggests they go with each other and runs out laughing. At the prom, Laura and Steve enjoy each other's company and kisses outside. Meanwhile, Nick (Harriette's former boss) has moved into Steve's old house and tempers flare between him and Carl.
