Storyline

A Halloween costume-bedecked Urkel and Laura are hostages during a bank robbery. Urkel fantasizes about saving Laura and subduing the criminal, but things don't quite work out that way. Carl, meanwhile, is able to apprehend the subject, leaving a downtrodden Urkel to realize he can never impress Laura by being a hero who saves the day. This is the first episode in which Urkel sings a song with the tune of "Camptown Races" and lyrics of his own invention. See more »

Goofs

Carl's police attire (both his patches and badge) are not the ones of the Chicago Police Department. Carl's patches are generic with 'police department' on them. Actual CPD patches are white and octagon shaped and say 'Chicago Police'. His badge is a generic oval shape style like the ones of LAPD. Real CPD badges are 5-point silver stars. See more »

Dog Day Halloween (#2.7)
3 June 2013 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

A well done episode.

First of all I must say I loved the Halloween costumes! Was such a great selection. Laura was awesome as a Tina Turner, would have loved to wear that costume when I was her age. Superman on Urkle was the funniest of them all. Him as a Superman with his little skinny legs was just too cute.

And it was very entertaining to see how it will go. Of course it is unbelievable how it went out, but this can be excused for a sitcom, lol And I loved the moment between Urkle and Carl at the end, I like to see Carl being positive towards Urkle.
