Storyline

Stewie becomes obsessed with a British TV show on PBS, leading him to decide to ditch his low-class surroundings and go live in England where everyone is cultured and educated. Brian chases him to the airport to stop him, but they inadvertently end up on a flight to the Middle East. Peter and Lois, meanwhile, decide to take a vacation following the rock group Kiss, where Peter discovers a few things about Lois he never suspected. Trivia

Due to a falling out with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley would not return to do their own voices in this episode. They had previously voiced themselves in the episode Family Guy: A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas (2001). Their characters were made less intelligent for this episode. See more »

One of the final adventures of classic FG.
2 July 2017 | by See all my reviews

This episode was the last to be produced (but the last-but-two to be broadcast, excluding 'Weinstein) before cancellation.

New episodes are just not so good, but cast your mind back to the year two thousand and two.

Like the initial 'Road to...' episode, this has the required show tunes à la Crosby, Hope and Lamour.

The story is captivating as it cycles back and forth between Brian and Stewie's transcontinental journey and Peter and Lois' journey to a KISS festival without becoming too stale.

I love how the Mother Maggie actress proves that looks can be deceiving by being overwhelmingly rude to Stewie: 'p*** off, you grotty little w***er!'

Anyway, even if you don't laugh much, it's good entertainment from the good old days of FG.
