Storyline

This episode is made up of three shorts supposedly based on ideas sent in by viewers. In the first, Peter is granted three wishes by a genie and ends up as a shapeless blob after his bones are all removed. In the second, a toxic waste leak gives the Griffins superpowers, which they promptly start abusing. The third looks at the residents of Quahog as little kids, with Peter and Quagmire fighting for the affections of the new girl, Lois. Written by Jean-Marc Rocher <rocher@fiberbit.net>

"I'm gonna microwave a bagel and have sex with it." What a clever and hilarious episode

Consisting of three segments supposedly based on ideas sent in by viewers (in which the majority were awful, Stewie tells us), "Family Guy Viewer Mail 1#" is actually quite an innovative episode. The usual twenty five minute run-time is split here into three segments which allows three outlandish tales that wouldn't normally fill a full episode a chance to appear on the screen. And they are all equally funny and entertaining - in the first one, "No Bones About It", Peter is granted three wishes by a genie. He wastes the first one on something stupid, and for his next one, he wishes for his own theme music which proceeds to follow him every way. While riding the bus, it begins to irritate a big, hard ass who threatens to break every bone in Peter's body, so for his last wish out of panic, Peter wishes to have no bones. It's granted, and Peter is now boneless and is irrevocably left a fat mess. In "Super Griffins", a toxic waste truck crashes outside the Griffin's house and they are exposed to radiation, resulting in them adapting super powers. Lois makes them all swear they will use them for good, but of course, it isn't long before they start using the powers to their own advantages and they anger the town, leaving it up to Mayor West to stop them. In the final segment, and my favourite, "Li'l Griffins" we see little Peter, Joe and Quagmire trying to impress little Lois. A very adorable and funny segment, in an overall amazing and very funny episode that had me laughing all through. I hope there was more of these...
