Storyline

Brian agrees to help out Peter by entering a dog show, but then quits in mid-performance when commanded to beg. After storming out of the house following an argument with Peter, Brian gets stopped by the police for using a drinking fountain meant for people, and finally ends up under arrest and facing the death penalty for biting someone. Only now when it looks like he will be taken away from them forever, does the family realize how important Brian is. Written by Jean-Marc Rocher <rocher@fiberbit.net>

Quotes

Lois Griffin: Peter, Brian please! Can't you two go back to the way you used to be?
[cut to a scene with the same characters, but styled as a 1930s version might look, then cut back to the original scene]
Brian Griffin: I'm never going back to the way things were, not after the way I was treated, not after the things I've seen.
Chris Griffin: What did you see? Was it breasts?
Peter Griffin: Ah, geez, get over it Brian, I mean, how bad you have it here? When I found you, you were nothing but a stray.
Brian Griffin: [gasp] You swear, you never speak of that.

Brian: Portrait of a Dog
5 September 2007 | by (United States florida) – See all my reviews

This episode is Hilarius. Whats sad is that the police take Brian. Whats Hilarius is Laddy And The Tramp. Whats brilliant is that Brian the Dog sings and when he looks handsome. Thats funny when the baby has a lollipop when Peter does something with a woman and the heat with Mom Tucker and Tom Tucker that her bra was showing when there was the heat. Whats Hilarius is that an M & M thats blue is there and the deer. Whats hysterical is the Pilsberry gets squish then makes Cinnamon buns. Thats very funny when its a cartoon thats silent. This episode is when Brian looks beautiful with a collar but then Protraits. This episode is Hilarius you will like this episode and so does Brian when he looks beautiful with that collar on his neck.
